On the occasion of International Day for Older Persons, the Department of Prosthodontics, SPPGIDMS celebrated a 4 day event with great enthusiam from the 3rd to 6th of October, 2023.
The First day started with a motivational lecture delivered by Head of the Department Dr. Shitij Srivastava.
A quiz and rangoli competition was held for PG and intern category.
On the second day series of lectures on Basic Implantology for interns was conducted by Dr. Anshuman Chaturvedi and Dr. Love Bhatia, followed by distribution of oral hygiene products to the geriatric patients by Principal Dr. Gaurav Singh along with Dr. Shitij Srivastava.
On the third day a Hands on course on Basic Implantology was conducted for the interns, under the guidance of Dr. Abhinav Shekhar .The course was successfully conducted by Dr. Debajyoti Sarkar, Dr. Abhishek Singh, Dr. Shivansh M. Saxena and Dr. Rashika Singh.
The event on the fourth day was closed with a guest lecture by the eminent speaker. Dr. Shreekanth A. Mallan on Immediate Functional loading of Implants which was very informative and motivating for all. This week long celebration in honour of our elderly paitents concluded with words of wisdom and encouragement from Principal Dr. Gaurav Singh.
