The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery under the aegis of Principal SPPGIDMS & Head of Department, Dr.Gaurav Singh and Department of Prosthodontics, Crown, Bridge and Implantology with Head of Department, Dr.Shitij Srivastava, in association with SIMPLADENT, organized a 3-day Workshop on “Strategic Implant Placement” from 3/4/23 to 5/4/23 which was conducted by Dr. Vivek Gaur who is an eminent Implantologist with a practice of more than 20 years.
Extensive lectures were conducted over these 3 days followed by a Hands-on session on STL Models.
Live demonstrations were performed on two patients. Case-I was planned for full mouth rehabilitation and
Case-II was planned for partial mandibular segmental rehabilitation. The prosthesis of these patients was delivered within 48 hours.The results came out to be spectacular and it was indeed a highly engrossing and innovative Workshop enriching the faculty and students with in depth knowledge and expertise.
The participants were awarded with the Course Certificate which authorized the use of Corticobasal Implants.
