The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences, recently hosted a remarkable Live Hair Restoration Workshop on 2nd and 3rd March, 2023. The two-day event was conducted in the highly equipped OT Complex of Dr. O.P. Chaudhary Hospital, Lucknow.
The Department was honoured to welcome the renowned Craniomaxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Arun Panda, who flew in from Mumbai to impart his vast knowledge and expertise to the budding Maxillofacial surgeons. With over 40 participants in attendance, the Workshop provided them an excellent platform to learn about various surgical as well as non-surgical techniques of hair restoration through live Hands-On sessions.
The Workshop included various therapies such as PRP Therapy, GFC Therapy, and Micro needling Therapy, which were performed by the participants on patients under the guidance of Dr. Panda. The attendees were also able to witness a live Blepharoplasty surgery performed by Dr. Panda, which was a remarkable learning experience for all.
The Workshop concluded with the felicitation of Dr. Arun Panda by Hon’ble Secretary, SPPGIDMS Dr. Snehlata Singh Ma’am, Principal, SPPGIDMS & Head of Dept., OMFS, Dr. Gaurav Singh, Director, Orthodontics, Dr. Sudhir Kapoor, Director, CDE, Dr. Raj Kumar Jaiswal, Dr. Amit Gaur and Dr. Madan Mishra. It was followed by the distribution of certificates among the participants.
