The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, SPPGIDMS put up a stellar show under the aegis of Principal & Head,Dept.of OMFS, Dr. Gaurav Singh, at the ‘46th Annual Conference of AOMSI -2022 in Indore from 17th to 19th November,2022. Dr Amit Gaur (Professor, Dept of OMFS) chaired a scientific session on “Maxillofacial Infections” . He also presented a paper on the topic “Role of BFP v/s BFP with Collagen Membrane v/s Extended Nasolabial Flap in Surgical Management of OSMF: A Comparative Evaluation”.
Dr Madan Mishra (Professor, Dept of OMFS) conducted a course on the topic “ Emergency management in Polytrauma”. He was also awarded the prestigious fellowship of “International Board for the Certification of Specialists in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery”. All the Post graduate students actively participated in the poster presentations in various arenas.
Quiz competition among all Post graduate students across India was conducted, in which Dr. Shruti Gupta and Dr. Swasti Bhardwaj were selected from North Zone and secured the 3rd position in the Final round.
