The Grand opening ceremony was the highlight of the third day of the 26th IOS NATIONAL PG CONVENTION graced by the presence of many distinguished dignitaries. The Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak Ji, was the Chief Guest of the day, while the Hon’ble Chairman, Shri Anurag Singh, and Secretary, Dr. Snehlata Singh Ma’am, were the Guests of Honour. Principal, SPPGIDMS, Dr. Gaurav Singh and Organizing Chairman (26th IOS PG CONVENTION) Dr.Sudhir Kapoor welcomed the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour and also felicitated them. During the event, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of the state commended the premises and the organization of the Institution, and expressed his commitment to enhancing the dental landscape in the state. Shri Anurag Singh extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and guests arriving from various parts of the country, while also affirming his willingness to continuously support such educational programs and events providing the much-needed impetus towards Research and Innovation in Dentistry. The President, IOS , Dr. Balwinder Singh Thakkar conveyed his profound appreciation to the Organizing Committee and highlighted that this was, by far, the most intricate and meticulously arranged convention he had witnessed in recent times. The program was attended by a plethora of Stalwarts of the Dental Fraternity and by many luminaries from The Indian Orthodontic Society. Scientific Convener, Dr. Jitendra Bhagchandani delivered the Scientific Update while Organizing Secretary Dr. Raj Kumar Jaiswal delivered the Vote of Thanks.
The Inaugural ceremony was followed by the prestigious Dr. H.S. Shaikh Oration delivered by the very renowned , Dr. Nandlal Toshniwal. Numerous scientific presentations by the students and keynote lectures from famed national and international experts were also conducted throughout the day. The day drew to a close with a splendid Gala Banquet hosted at “The Palms Resort”, where both students and faculty relished in the joyful ambience to the fullest extent.
